I can't believe it, after work today I put a deposit on a band new Janome MC 350 E, it'll be in my possession in about a week and a half though I don't know why it takes so long since the head office is just outside Toronto in Mississauga.

OMG, a larger embroidery area, I can't wait!!!

I bought a Brother HE-240 in December off the Costco.ca website, it arrived in January and 4"x4" became frustrating very, very quickly. The quality of the embroidery on the HE-240 was very impressive considering it is a very inexpensive machine. This week I returned it to Costco for a full refund and put that money towards the 350 E.

Congratulations on your new baby! It looks so fine. If I did enough embroidery to become frustrated with my 4x4 area, I'd be buying one of these too.

Thanks Miss Fairchild & ElaineW, I can't wait to try out in the hoop crafts and a larger design area! I've been on Embroidery Library and SmartNeedle.com for the past 2 days looking for fun projects. I think I'm going to make a bib for a colleague who's pregnant and pot holders for my Mother-in-law.

There's so much I want to make, I think I need to invest in a lot of thread!!!

The MC 350e is a great machine. Have fun. I also highly recommend the Embroidery class taught here on PR by Jennifer Stern. She is an excellent teacher.

I think your going to be very happy. I have the Janome 10001 which basically has the same embroidery unit on it. Janomes are great machines.

I've been watching YouTube videos and fantasizing about what I can make with it, CAN'T WAIT!!!

I LOVE that you can compose and edit designs right on the machine's screen!

Congrats! Great choice on machine! I know you are going to have lots of fun with it.

Isn't it frustrating having to wait for a new machine? I just ordered a new machine and the week and a half wait till it gets here is KILLING me!

Be sure to post a review when you have played with your 350e for a while.
