I was wondering if anyone knew how to check the stitch count on a Janome 350E?

Okay.. and you are asking this because..?? Did you get your machne and do you think for some reason it might be a used one.. instead of a new one..
I understand the stitch count can be reset by a tech on some models T..

We don't need to get into the WHY of it all, just the how do I...

There were a lot of Janome 350E's on display at the CreativFestival and on loan to other vendors. I just want to make sure I'm getting what I paid for.

I had the 350E and did not see anything in the set up that would tell me the stitch count. Sorry I can't be of help. Hopefully someone will be able to tell you without you having to take it to a dealer to find out.

I know this is an old post, but did you figure out how to find the Stitch Count? I'm interested because I want to sell my 350e and would like to be able to give total hours or stitch count.

I know it is very low because I upgraded to a multi needle shortly after I got mine so only did a few projects.

Thanks for any information,

Peggy?Alabama

I found this info on the Memorycraftsewingclub group on yahoo. I have that machine also, but wasn't able to try it because it's packed away for travel.

From the yahoo group:
Hi there,
i don't know if this goes for the Janome 350e as it is basically the same
machine as the Bernina Deco 340e
Anyway here is how to do it
On the screen at the bottom is an icon that looks like a gear wheel -press
that
On the next screen press the ? - the question mark
the press on the next screen in the top left corner
And there you will see the total hours that you have sewn on your machine
I have not even had mine for a year and already have actually sewn for 468
hours
The mechanic says that at that total it needs to have a service and i think
he is quite correct as it is making a bit of a knocking sound as it
embroiders
Take care
