This is an excellent article. Thank you so much for such great information. I am allergic to most synthetics, so cotton has been my choice for clothing and home decor for a long time.

Love my cotton - quilts, clothing. Living in the south, cotton is a must. Great article. Learned some very interesting attributes of cotton that I didn't know.

I like the type of cotton used by Wind River for their shirts, but I can't find any like it, a sort of lightweight brushed canvas. When new, it almost looks like silk. If anyone knows where to get it, I would like to know.
