What's your sewing status?
Or close to sewing, anyhow.

Anytime I think of a Facebook status to post, it is usually sewing related and most of my *friends* wouldn't really understand. I've often wondered if Pattern Review has considered a "status" addition to the website. Today I thought, "why don't I start a thread? See if anyone else wants to post a status?"

I'll start!

Has a whole hour to sew while DH--who has a head cold even--has taken the boys to the park. I'm enjoying the quiet and finishing these yoga pants!

Mine's a 'close to sewing' status.

I'm this close to winning the battle with the cover stitch set up, after which I can finish a tee that has been not-so-patiently waiting.

My sewing status....
wondering if anyone will notice a horizontal buttonhole in the middle of a row of vertical buttonholes in the front of my jacket!

I'll probably rethink that option! Rotten seams and automatic buttonholer..knew I should have used the Greist!

Went through my stash and reorganized, clipping small squares to put in a photo organizer with size and fabric type info. Now I'm ready to start a sewing project. (Where did all that fabric come from?????)

Haven't done it yet, Kat...but it seems almost the best option
I think I'll try turning it around and sewing the hole from the top to the bottom instead of the other way..or else try to match the style/size of hole with the Greist or Singer....the automatic keeps getting stuck on the seam just above it..jean jacket, so lots of seams...

Oh my!

Maybe you should stitch a horizontal buttonhole right over the top of each of the vertical ones...

And then only open the vertical ones

Call it a design feature...
