November Challenge

Is there any lead time or is it announced on the last day of the month? Thank you!

The November PR challenge listed in the contest thread is a 2 week event (Nov. 1st - Nov 14th or 15th). We have had 2 other challenges this year, the Apron one and the Unconventional materials one. I think part of the challenge is that there isn't much warning. If I recall, in both of those contests the threads were not opened until just a few days before the start dates. I don't want to give away what it is, but I'll hint that we are trying to keep in mind how busy everyone is this time of year, and are trying to fit in what people might be sewing already... The month long Contests for November are the Refashioning Contest and the Pattern Stash Contest which is two months.
