Date: 11/4/11 8:41 AM I was thinking of going to this, but since it's moved from Tampa to Lakeland, it's rather a long trip out there. Did anyone go last year? Was it worth it? ------ Janel |

Date: 11/16/11 5:41 PM I went last year and thoroughly enjoyed it. This year I hope to make a reservation in the adjacent hotel--that would make it better.

Date: 1/1/12 6:45 PM Hi cybermom:
I just made my online registration for classes. This will be my first time going and am looking forward to learning new sewing skills. I will write a review when I return and let all of you know how it went.
I am not staying in the suggested hotels. My husband had points for 3 free nights at the LaQuinta Inn and Suites...so I will be paying to park everyday...a whole lot better than paying $300 for lodging. LOL!
Hope to see some of you there.

Date: 1/19/12 11:26 PM I will probably be there! My daughter has a gym meet that weekend and my sister, who lives in FL, is going to join us for the meet. She said the expo will only be about an hour away so we should be able to work it in!

Date: 2/10/12 4:20 PM Yes, I am attending Friday afternoon and Saturday morning.
We are staying the Terrace Hotel--downtown-an old historic
hotel. I am waiting until I get there to do hands on classes
and view the ongoing stage shows plus shop the vendors!!
I hear it is just as great as it was in Tampa and I really enjoyed
one there a few years ago. Hope to see you there! |
