Wow! what a week it's been. I am sure you must be reeling from the fun and excitement of meeting other PatternReview members at the PR Day Celebrations this Saturday. I just want to take a moment and thank you for making this day so special for everyone and for coming together to celebrate!
The celebrations don't have to end you know! Let's continue this online. If you have pictures from the event, post them to the PR Day 2011 Group at Flickr.

Date: 11/21/11 1:15 PM What a wonderful weekend!
It was such a pleasure to spend time with other sewists/fabric junkies and celebrate/discover some of the wonderful sewing related businesses and people we have in Austin. I have a new serge (pun intended) of enthusiasm.

Date: 11/21/11 2:15 PM What a great time we had in Austin! I feel like I have lots of new best friends. To be in a room with so many talented people was truely inspiring. And who knew I have a fellow PR'er living less than 3 miles from me! ------ betty/mikie

Date: 11/21/11 2:23 PM The party in Austin was by far the best! Leslie Lawson organized 3 days of total fun with a pants fitting class, lectures and enable the purchase of many, many yards of fabric.
Now, I have some sewing to do! ------ http://beccabeckstuff.blogspot.com/

Date: 11/21/11 8:03 PM PR Austin was amazing! (To quote Leslie ) She (and all the hostesses) did a fantastic job of making a memorable weekend! The pants fitting class was fantastic and well worth it! Can't wait to start cutting out my pants. Shopping and dining were awesome! Austin is a great town for both. I also met some wonderful people I hope to see again. Just moving back to TX after many years away, I feel 'at home' again! Y'all are awesome!! |

Date: 11/21/11 10:03 PM I was fortunate to have attended the Boston PR party. Very fun to finally see "PR HQ". You might know the sewing ladies are just great, but even the sewing hubs enjoyed the party.
Leslie, you are a dynamo. If you ever give up computer work you can step right into event planning. Wow, what a weekend you guys had.
