Date: 11/25/11 7:00 PM I'd love to find a source for silk pointelle, or at least knit silk fabric that I could use to make long underwear. Dose anybody know of a source? Have tips for working with it? |

Date: 12/5/11 8:25 PM I bought some knit silk, not pointelle though, from Printed Silk fabrics at

Great prints! No colour bleeding in the print I bought. The white areas were somewhat sheer.
My only real word of advice is use wooly nylon in your loopers if you're serging.

Date: 12/6/11 9:17 AM I don't buy it, but rather buy the completed long underwear at Dharma Trading. The prices are very reasonable, and the fabric is dyeable. For about $18, I can have a pair that I haven't had to take time out to cut, sew, serge, and insert elastic. ------ "We don't impose our rhythm on Nature. The key is to respect and live within Her."
