Date: 11/30/11 12:38 PM I thought it increased by just over 4 yards when I purchased a bolt end of knit at 75% off. After washing, twice, and drying, it appears that it only increased by just over 3 yards Saw a recommendation to run denims through 3 times on prewashing to avoid shrinkage after construction. So, maybe after I put this in for a third wash, my stash will have only increased about 2.5 yards
The fabric also shrunk in the width. I thought the percentage represented the sales price, not how much would come off the fabric when I washed it

Date: 11/30/11 12:44 PM Oh my lord- 42 yards since 11/22... both apparel and quilting fabric. (and 25 spools of cotton thread...I think I can only use that for quilting though)
I clearly have a problem... I guess the only good thing is that the average cost per yard was under $3... -- Edited on 11/30/11 12:44 PM -- |

Date: 11/30/11 12:47 PM I would have to double check, but I think mine increased by about 20 yards. Bought lots of beautiful solid color jerseys from TexStyles in Austin. I always get in trouble there...

Date: 11/30/11 1:28 PM 3 yards. Guess last week I was more of an obsessive buyer than a compulsive one I missed out on the cobalt wool I wanted from Fabricmart because I hesitated too long. Guess I knew I didn't really need it.
Nonetheless, I've filled 3 large tubs (and then some) with fabric since I started stashing in the spring! DH says I have enough now, and it's time to get sewing. ------ Twitter: @SewKnitStash |

I'm just getting back into apparel sewing, so I don't have much of a stash right now. I have lots of knits, but these were mostly non-knits. And I have projects in mind for the most part... |

Date: 11/30/11 3:57 PM Nao Black Friday shopping here so the increase was zip. Not that I "needed" anything... Oh, but I lie! I do really and truly need to go out and pick up the fabric for the Tangled costume for my GD-to be ~ her 5th birthday is coming up very soon. ------ "We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are."
