You do have the manual for this don't you? What are the numbers that follow "Tiptronic"?

Here on page 10 are the instructions for model 2000.

It should be the same for other Singer models with the self winder. If not, check the model number on your machine and put it in the search box.

I recently bought a Singer Touch-Tronic 2010 at an auction, and downloaded a manual. I cannot get the bobbin to wind. I have read and re-read the manual, tried and tried. Everything I find on-line just quotes the manual, but nothing happens at all. Any ideas? Thank you!!

I'm going by memory here, so bear with me. Thread the machine as usual, bring the thread under the foot and wrap once around the presser foot fastening screw, you should see a rubber o-ring there. Open the slide plate all the way and move the lever with the red arrow all the way to the right. ( as far as it will go ) Touch the zigzag stitch and you should also see a circle with a dot inside it. Touch that too. Now sew till the bobbin is as full as you want it. Hope I remembered this properly. Good luck!

I too am having trouble having dragged this machine out of hibernation! I recall it being easy to fill bobbin, but I can't. I am wondering if there is a broken part. I have the unhelpful instruction book
Thanks

Are all of you using the right type of bobbin? Depending on the model...the bobbin may be this one: Singer plastic bobbin for Touchtronic

As mentioned before, you have to use the proper Singer bobbins with black lines. The bobbins come apart and can get warped with age too.Only wind to the last black line on the bobbin, don't overfill,or the bobbin will not sew properly.

If the latch "Step 2" in the picture down here is broken or cracked, one can't wind a bobbin.

Which model do you have ? I have a Singer Athena 2000 and think the bobbin winding instructions are good in that manual.
