Wasn't quite sure where to put this. It fitted in vintage, beginners, fitting as well as this section? If its in the wrong place please move it if appropriate.
I got brave and scaled up the wrap-over half robe on page 44 of patterns of fashion.
(Haven't got round to the skirt bit yet.)
Now I found the front sat ok..but the back didn't. The centre back didn't reach to the 'centre back'. My instinct was to extend the last panel. I'm wondering if I should have extended it at different place.

Depending where you graded the pattern. You need to take the amount you are adding and divide it by four, add this amount to the side seams of the front and back so you are actually grading the pattern evenly each side, this makes the pattern bigger on an even basis which will keep center front at center front and center back at center back.
