Date: 12/6/11 12:18 PM Those are really pretty. I'm a big fan of salt dough ornaments. I like the dimensional puffiness and when they are painted and sealed they last for years. My favorites have been made with cookie cutters for a dove (Dove of Peace), wreaths (to use as a picture frame) and angels. My all-time favorite that was very time consuming was to carve an angel from salt dough based on a Christmas card angel.
If you want to stay with your fabric theme, you could use any simple cookie cutter as a pattern. Bells, traditional ornament shapes, squares made to look like little presents.
Thank you for posting the link, I might string together some of those to use instead of a traditional garland. -- Edited on 12/6/11 12:18 PM -- ------ I have no idea what Apple thought I was saying so be a Peach and credit anything bizarre to auto correct. |
