Date: 12/8/11 1:18 PM Has anyone ordered and recieved the Chateau Knit? Fabric.com has lots of colors at a good price. It is 100% poly, which could be bad, but is occassionally perfectly decent. Before I order a bunch, I was hoping somebody had some insight on the quality..... |

Date: 12/10/11 8:11 AM I haven't ordered any, but remember if you order $35, the shipping is free. AND, if you don't like anything, you can return it free. No problems! NAYY |

Date: 12/10/11 12:23 PM I've never ordered or heard of it before. They have an outstanding selection of colors though. Very tempting.....I've been trying to stay away.
It's a single knit so probably a jersey weave. That could mean some curling edges. You could call Customer Service to check on that. I don't think they work the weekends, but with their big 12-Days of Christmas sale, they might be.
It could be used for lining knit garments since it's lightweight. Also, since the price is so good, it might be great for muslins.
Thanks for sharing this with us, Amy-may. ------ Judy |

Date: 12/12/11 3:39 PM Hi - I purchased the honey one - looks nice - a little "shiny" for me but would be great as a lining. I am going to use it to trial tops and have purchased some teal coloured that hasn't arrived yet. Haven't sewed with the honey yet so don't know how it goes in the machine or how it wears. But for the price ..... what can you say. ------ BeaJay
