I'm working on Burda 7434. I've always been a solid 34 in the neck and shoulders, but lately the tops of the sleeves are falling off of my shoulders. I'm happy with the width and reasonably how everything fits in general, except that the top of the sleeves are falling off of my shoulders. On this one, the width of the shoulders is putting the princess seams too far out towards the side seams and not over the center bust where they should be as well.

I know that I need to do a narrow shoulder adjustment of some sort, but can I do that though I've made the garment minus hems? My idea was to split apart the princess seam and make a dart of sorts in the front to take out some width, easing in the back shoulder to match. Is this a legitimate way to retrofit? How do you handle narrow shoulders in a shoulder princess seam?

The best project you could be working on is the one that's on the table right now.

I think you need a smaller size. That and maybe an FBA and I think you will be all set, This top seems too big all over.
