Date: 12/14/11 1:12 PM One of the local news stations contacted us because of our outdoor Christmas display. They ended up doing a remote broadcast from our front yard all morning. It was a lot of fun, but we did have to get up at about 4 this morning and it was really cold outside.
Besides being on the morning news, we were told that it is going to reair at noon and possibly this evening too. Hopefully, they will put a link to what they filmed on their website. |

Date: 12/14/11 1:18 PM That's exciting, as long as the camera truck doesn't pull up when you dash out partially dressed under your coat to grab the paper
Would you please post the city and station number? The may have something on their site.
Thank you. ------ I have no idea what Apple thought I was saying so be a Peach and credit anything bizarre to auto correct. |

And fortunately, they contacted us last night to ask if they could do a broadcast here today. Let us know that they would be here at 4:30 am so we could set our alarm and get lots of coffee in! Out of all the little mini interviews they did, it was mostly just my husband because I didnt really want to be out in the cold. I went out one time and stood with hubby, but let him do the talking :) |

Date: 12/14/11 5:01 PM That is just fantastic. I think I need to find that little camper looking thing. What fun.
I understand why a lot of folks don't decorate (or give out candy at Halloween), but it would just be sad if everyone quit. Thanks for carrying the torch - and lighting it too ------ I have no idea what Apple thought I was saying so be a Peach and credit anything bizarre to auto correct. |
