So I've begged DD to ask her friends, and I've asked mine. I've searched facebook and can't find the answer. In short - I have an android Motorola phone. All of DD's facebook friends show up on my contacts, and I can delete them but they come right back. I have a facebook account, but I don't have any facebook apps activated on my phone!
Was this done through her own facebook account? Neither of us know how this happened. Of course, she isn't really interested in helping either.

Go to your Facebook page or your daughter's...wherever you think the setting was created. On the right upper side of the homepage it says HOME. Click that and some choices will come up. It should show your general account settings. There is probably some listing there for a phone. On the left hand side of that page there is a list. One of the items is MOBILE. I think that if you want to add a phone, that is where you click. I believe that you can change your settings on that page by removing or altering the settings. I hope this helps. I am not that Facebook literate myself, but I have used the site a bit for a few years to keep up with folks.

is it a motorola atrix? some of the phones have a built-in "feature" that connects all of your social networks for you, with very little interaction on your part. on my atrix, it is called "moto blur" or something like that.

there are some things you can do to get rid of that interaction... the easiest way is to have a phone techie person help you. my local cell phone shop has some very helpful people, hopefully you are this lucky too?

if you are deleting the contacts from your phone, but then they come back, it is probably synchronizing with some other source. is it possible that you have an email address or something that might share those contact lists?

The object of this is to delete your mobile phone number from the Facebook settings on either her page or yours...whichever one it appears on. Let me know if it works for you.

There is a uTube video showing how this is done on a phone. I'm not sure how you remove them, but I think it is by unchecking the boxes on your phone. Watch the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IK85lzCn91s

Thanks for that link. It brought me to other links which showed me more about my phone I was unaware of! The contacts are gone now. I never figured it out, but I guess my threats to her to find a solution finally sunk in and she figured out how to delete my number from her facebook or whatever it was on! Thanks so much for responding!!
