Are they doing this right after they repeat the first four episodes? I don't really care about the reruns, but I am curious about Part 2.

Part 2 starts Jan 8. Part 1 ended on a cliff hanger...sort of like Who Shot JR. The clothing and the decorations and Maggie Smith's performance are so wonderful I can't wait to see it again and then be ready for Part 2 with the story fresh in my mind. Popcorn getting ready for me too...with butter!!!!

It was good, wasn't it? DH and really enjoyed and, and I made sure that DD and DSIL set their DVR for it this time.

This topic title caught my eye and after reading all the excitement here decided to see what Downton Abbey was all about. At first glance DH and I didn't think we would like it, that it might be too pompous, stuffy and boringly highbrow, but we found it interesting and actually enjoyed both segments and set a reminder for next week. Thanks for posting about it - we probably would have skipped over it in our search for something *good* to watch tonight!
