Date: 12/21/11 9:34 AM I think I like spring clothes better than winter ones. Some cute styles in there. Nice coats and jackets.

Subject: McCalls Spring Selection Date: 12/21/11 9:48 AM Great collection - I love the 'lookbook' presentation & the styling options too, it's so inspiring -- can't wait for the new Vogues, too!!! ------ http://sewstashsew.wordpress.com/

Subject: McCalls Spring Selection Date: 12/21/11 10:21 AM I like 6505, although I think some of the Kay Umber (I guess Phoebe Couture is a "youth" line) patterns in Vogue have had problems before.
I also like 6523. -- Edited on 12/21/11 10:22 AM -- |

Subject: McCalls Spring Selection Date: 12/21/11 10:48 AM I like 6520, but the picture they selected to represent it is awful. I had to look really closely at the line drawings to really see what the pattern was! |

6506 also makes me happy

6519 is a good spring wardrobe...love the skirt

There are lots of wide pants, pleated pants, and loose fitting pants. I just got used to skinny pants. ------ my blog: http://kf-biblioblog.blogspot.com/

Subject: McCalls Spring Selection Date: 12/21/11 11:33 AM The photography of this collection is beautiful. Can't put my finger on the exactly quality I love but there is a nice "lightness" to it.
Some really cute patterns too! ------ Cheap fabrics, like cheap shoes, are a false economy.

Date: 12/21/11 11:59 AM At first glance of the fashion photos, I didn't like anything. But looking closer, there are quite a few I like.
I really must make the clear jacket! Love it!
6517

I like these in the knit version with the angled yoke.
6514
6514

There are several others too like a few of the dresses. My only beef are the giant 70's collars. I can't pull those off at all. ------ http://kimsewsilly.blogspot.com/ |

Subject: McCalls Spring Selection Date: 12/21/11 12:12 PM Thanks for posting, I love it when the Spring books come out. Makes you think winter will be over soon. ------ My grandmother taught me to sew when I was 10, and I've been sewing ever since. |
