Today I bought this Oreck iron for $7.00 at the Goodwill. I plugged it in & it gets hot & steams good. It has a non-stick sole plat & looks barely used. I've never even heard of Oreck irons before & just wondering if anyone else had one & whether they are any good. I've had the worst time with irons - trying to find one that gets hot enough & lasts more than a year. Well, for $7.00, how can I go wrong?

I have one and like it very much. If yours did not come with a manual you can get one (pdf) free on line.

I had one & gifted it to a friend. She still has it 5 years later.
That is an awesome price! They use to run over $149 I believe... we got ours with another purchase ... air filter... odd now to think of it... air filter is defunk.. iron still going....
