Date: 12/23/11 2:06 AM Anyone working on the patterns from the new Colette Sewing Handbook? I am working on a "muslin" for the licorice dress, but since it is turning out so well, I decided to line it and make it into a real dress. I'm almost finished, but am planning to make another in wool crepe. Anyone else out there working on Licorice - or interested? ------ blog: encue.blogspot.com

Date: 12/28/11 11:55 AM Thanks, Marec. Yes, I have been working out and dieting. I have lost 15 lbs and would like to lose 5 more. My goal is to lose BODY FAT and I really am less concerned with the scale #. I'm proud of myself for not "blowing it" over the holidays, but now it's time to get back to some serious work
I finished a pair of Clover's yesterday. You can see the review here.
There is still a little tweaking to do, but this version is straight from the envelope with NO changes. Yahoo!

Date: 1/16/12 9:09 AM licorice looks great on you, fantastic job! I have the Colette book out of the library and am going to buy my own copy when it comes due.
I have the Colette "crepe" dress pattern OTW, it's an easy wrap dress that should work with my still-nursing top-heaviness. It is my one big to do beginner goal this year ( that and learn to use my serger!)... I'll post some reviews and pics too when I get the first one done...thinking it could take a few tries ------ Yards sewn 2012: 34
