Simplicity 2594 with sleeves did anyone make the version with sleeves or add their own?

The included sleeves won't work because the gathering bulks up under my coat and bothers me. Does anyone have experience with sleeves for this pattern? I particularly love either to the elbow or a little longer. Thanks in advance for any tips.
