Sewing Challenges for 2012 Do you have one or know of one?
sewmodest Advanced Beginner MD SAUDI ARABIA Member since 2/6/04 Posts: 225	Login to reply to this post Like this post Date: 12/27/11 2:50 PM I love reading and following challenges that people have givin themselves, like today I found about two challenges one was the founder of sew weekly sewing a new item every week for 2011 and she did it. Another is another fellow sewist who plans to sew with only Burda Magazine patterns for 2012. In the past I have seen someone refashion thrift finds everyday for a year and also I remember one where a woman wore only the clothes she made for an entire year and that included shoes and undergarments. These are just some. I too have given myself a challenge and that is to only use the same 12 patterns for one year, my main goal is to develop a good set of TnT patterns for myself. It was called The Summer of No Pants. Many sewists only wore skirts and dresses that they made for the entire summer, with no pants, tights or shorts!!
