Need Advice on fabic Maching fabric and lining

I am going to make a dress out of blended wool crepe (80% polyester 20% wool) and I have a lovely stretch charmeuse that I would like to line it with (98% Polyester/2% Lycra). I was hoping to cut it and sew it at the same time as the fabric - ie - not a hanging lining but a sewn in one.... Will this work with non stretch fabric and stretch lining?
