Okay. I am asking this here because I am unsure which forum to ask and I figured I could get creative with a sewing pattern. If I put this in the wrong forum, I apologize. Please let me know where to put future questions like this.

There is a game called Magicka that I and my boyfriend plays. (He plays more than I do.) What I am interested in is the little wizard's robe. You can see them very clearly on the front of the game page.

The company had real life official magicka robes created. You can see them here: Official Magicka Wizard Bathrobe.

At the time I finally decided to order one for him for Christmas they had sold out. ugh! He's confident in my sewing abilities (I love him! ) that he thinks I can make one of these robes. Well, looking at the site now they're now available for order.

I'm thinking I may still make one for him. I think if he were to get one, he'd want one made by me. While I have no problem going ahead and ordering one, I'm considering possibly making one for him. Please note: I am not looking to create these to sell. I recognize this is NOT my design. They have an official licensed product, as you can see.

So my question is, would you guys know of a robe pattern and a hood pattern that are similar that I could use to recreate one of these robes? I may just attempt to sew one of these robes to try my hand at reproducing clothing items.
