Date: 1/3/12 4:49 PM Too funny, my goal for this month is to make a cat bed, too! Guess I'll join in for the fun here. Did you do this sew-along last year too? Do you set each month's goal at the beginning of each month?

Date: 1/3/12 7:47 PM I'm taking the French jacket class beginning 9 Jan. My goal for January is to keep up with the class...
And maybe come up with a goal for February (would that be finishing the jacket???).... ------ "We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are." Anais Nin

Date: 1/3/12 9:04 PM I'm going to give this a try again this year -- it did help me with setting personal sewing goals and at least accomplishing some of them when business sewing didn't get in the way. I managed to sew up over 80 metres of personal stash and made myself some clothes.
So for January my goals are:
1. DGS birthday gift
2. Tote bags for gifts
3. Infinity scarves for gifts
4. Something to wear for Robbie Burns social
Pretty much all of this is being sewn from stash so will be entered in the Fabric Stash contest.

For January:
1. Cut and sew dd's O&S dress
2. Sew bag that is cut out.
3. Do some stash busting. I joined the stash contest.
Happy sewing! |

Date: 1/5/12 9:50 AM I find I am very good at goals, it is the carry through that I'm lacking. This month I have 8 shades to finish, two chairs to re-upholster and a garment for the one garment a month sew along! Shades came first and I think they will be finished this week, so I am making progress at least! ------ Nancy |
