Do you mean Creative Machine Embroidery with that lovely PONCHO?
I bought it for the free designs but almost didn't pick it up to look through at first because of the cover. They need to re-think who does the cover!

Oh yes -- my eyes zeroed in on the place between the two collar ends immediately and kept coming back. They could have pressed it at the very least. I am such a perfectionist that I cringe when I see projects in magazines so poorly constructed. Maybe it was really R/W in disguise? Love the fabric and the embroidery, though.

NO Creative Machine Embroidery would never have put anything like that in their magazine. This is the Eileen Roche magazine.
PS I just pulled out the latest issue of Creative...hmmm now that I look at it...that triangle collar thing is pretty awful isn't it?
That pillow on pg. 34 is lovely though isn't it?

I think Creative machine embroidery is the Sew News cousin. Anyways, this is the ugly thing poncho

Oh thank you...I am so glad you saw it too. I kept looking at it...and even the white stitching on the button placket is terrible...not straight. And it just frumpy and droopy...looks like an iron never got there.

Bravo, very good! The cover is even worse...Mrs. Moos is right!!! The embroidery is nice but the poncho itself is so poorly sewn...sheeesh! Now I know why it takes me 40 hrs to do something that should take 2!
