Well, I finally took the plunge and ordered the Bernina 1150mda from my local dealer last week--should arrive any day now

I have a very small space next to my sewing cabinet where I can fit one more small table, but it can't be any bigger than 21" by 40"', and smaller would be better. I was wondering if anyone has tried any of the following options, or if there are better options...I'd be most comfortable keeping it under $300 or so, unless there is something transcendent out there...

1. Sew Ezi table; this is just the right size, but I don't see and serger inserts...and perhaps it's for a reason? Retreading would be a chore with the serger in the well I presume?

2. serger cart from Nancy's Notions;
this looks pretty good, matches my horn cabinet (although I think the white melamine is ugly, it's what I have for now) . But can anyone vouch for its sturdiness?

3. Ikea table with leaves plus a sew steady table;

Ikea table

A cheap option, as I have a gift card, and the back leaf is cute. But will it shake with use? Is it too tall?

4. Find an old singer cabinet to retrofit...I like this idea but I'm not sure DH needs one more project on his plate....

Any other great ideas for serger tables?

Edit:
I can't seem to put it in the right spot, but this is the link to the Nancy's table...

For the longest time I used an old school desk. metal frame with an arborite top from the 1970's. They show up at used office furniture places. I got mine from the school clearout sale.

I too use an old school desk! But if I were shopping, I like the look of the one on Nancy's Notions, and the fact that it's moveable anda has the drawer handy. If shipping isn't too costly that's what I would probably go with.

It's not bad at all, but no longer for sale...have you Ever ordered from "salestores"? Ive never heard of it.

Now, what do you think a "modesty panel" hides on a serger cart?

My mom used to have her serger on a printer cart. She could take the serger off of it and push it up under her table...

I have an Arrow table from Joanns which I got during a 50% off sale. My Juki shares the table with my Bernina, it is easy to trade them out.

Warbler, is that a pool noodle on your knee lift lever? I've got that, too!

Good eye Maia!

warbler, I love your set up, so inviting...Is that a sew perfect table I see? I am thinking hard about trading my horn cab for one of those, I think that my airlift platform is just not as shake-free as it could be...

Now, that arrow table. I see it has a well for the machine. Do you ever sink your serger in there? Does the table tremble. I think I remember you have the juki 735, which would be the same size as my Bernina....
