Has anyone ever tried the "Fit Me" Patterns at http://www.uniquepatterns.com/ ?

The body changed, patterns don't seem to fit anymore...the usual, and I came upon the website.

I did a term search and nothing came up, so I hope I am not repeating.

Did the patterns fit?
There is a membership fee and then patterns. Do the patterns cost extra over and above the membership fee?

Thanks.

Sorry to be late answering this. I was a member of Unique, and made a dress that fit good after the first one was returned. That can happen, since you're not always perfect in taking measurements!
I ordered 5 more patterns, but they're patterns that I am not interested in making up anymore, except maybe one or two. I will get to them in time, but I know I've gained weight too!
With Unique, the directions were sufficient with graphics, and they were printed on heavy paper. I think the new owners are doing the same.
The patterns are drafted by computer, not by hand. They do require more measurements, and ask more questions about your body type and all that than Unique did. And they still have a guarantee.
Let us know if you wind up trying them. They are expensive, so choose carefully. I didn't, and I do regret that. And, order a very basic dress with sleeves for your first garment, so you can easily judge if you got your measurements right.

I tried and it didn't come out well for me (this was years ago though). The problem clearly was poor measurements. I did the laser body scan thing so it wasn't me making an error. Basically, the dress came out like I had no neck and 2 inch shoulders.

Yes, I probably should have worked more with the company to correct the measurement problems but I didn't bother.
