I have some of this for a winter coat. I think I have used it before, but, honestly, it was in the 1980s, and I do not remember if/how I pre-treated it.

Does anyone know if I should pre-treat and, if so, how? As I was pressing the wrinkles out of it (satin side down), my iron dribbled water on it and it did leave a faint mark on the satin side, but this coat will be dry-cleaned if it ever is necessary.

It's approximately 50/50 acetate/cotton.

TIA

My kasha from Vogue fabrics is dry clean only.
