Monster Christmas stocking

I was surprised that I couldn't find one ready-made. Monsters are his favorite thing, so I had to make sure he had a monster stocking! I'd love to get your tips on creating this thing! Who wants the plain stocking when they can have a monster one? My nephew is really into dinosaurs lately, maybe I can make him a T-rex stocking. And just wanted to thank everyone again for the nice responses. I had a lot of fun with this, even dragged poor hubby to the fabric store to help me pick out materials for it. ------ Cathryn
