Date: 1/19/12 12:49 PM I know Christmas is over but I thought I'd share the monster stocking I made for my grandson. I was surprised that I couldn't find one ready-made. Monsters are his favorite thing, so I had to make sure he had a monster stocking!
(don't know why there is no way to preview to see if the pics are working-sorry in advance if they don't!)

Date: 1/19/12 6:22 PM We don't have kids yet, only a niece and nephew. I'd love to get your tips on creating this thing! Who wants the plain stocking when they can have a monster one? My nephew is really into dinosaurs lately, maybe I can make him a T-rex stocking. The body shape would be pretty similar to yours, I'd imagine. ------ I'm finally a blogger!

Date: 1/21/12 11:42 PM yes, you could easily adapt to make a t-rex!
And just wanted to thank everyone again for the nice responses. I had a lot of fun with this, even dragged poor hubby to the fabric store to help me pick out materials for it. ------ Cathryn |
