so..a tie is an accessory.....that makes perfect sense.

But....what about a vest??

I can do the last flannel shirt for hubby, and I even have a camp shirt ready to make for him, but.....still....what would a vest be considered?? And no, not a fleece zip-up thing, but a lined, button up, to wear under a suit jacket-type of thing???

I would think a vest qualifies as a piece of clothing -- it's not really an accessory IMO.

I hope the contest moderator chimes in here, because I have three men wanting vests and all...

I just posted the official thread for the Menswear Challenge. The rules don't specifically mention vests, but I believe they would qualify as garments and not accessories.

I'll double-check that with the Contest Committee, and post an update in the official thread.

yay! thank you!! I made some for hubby a few years ago....with his kidney disease, his waist is a little bigger, so I need to make him some that are a bit larger....they have been stashed for well over 3 years....
