Date: 1/19/12 8:14 PM I have registered to take Susan Khalje's couture class in Nashville in May. I would like to make a Chanel jacket if I can find a wool boucle that I like. Susan takes her Nashville students to Textile Fabric Store to shop for fabric. I was there yesterday for their annual 40% off sale but couldn't find a boucle that I really liked. Does anyone know of an online source? I have checked Gorgeous Fabrics, Emma One Sock and a few of the obvious sources but still haven't located it. Any ideas? ------ Jan

Call Michael or Sherri, they are having a huge sale at their brick and mortar location (A Fabric Place in Baltimore) so they might have better prices than what's list online. ------ I'm finally a blogger!

Date: 1/20/12 9:26 PM In Nashville, there is also a custom clothing studio that sells nice fabrics....next time you are there. I may be having a brain drain on the name .... Think it's Mona Couture....or something similar.
It is upstairs on West End Ave at the loop. In a strip center that used to have a Dairy Queen.
I drive by all the time when home, but my recall is fuzzy. |

Date: 1/21/12 6:02 PM I have bookmarked all the great suggestions and ordered swatches from Emmaonesock and Apple Annies. I had no idea there was a couture type studio on West End in Nashville. I live only 60 miles from there. I'll call them Monday. Hopefully, I will locate the perfect fabric before my class in May! ------ Jan
