Date: 1/20/12 1:45 PM I don't know if this is the right area for this topic, but I just had to crow about my super deal. My little Joann's is liquidating and moving down the street to a larger facility. I went in today and they have All their patterns for $1.99. I've never bought a Burda in my life, but came home with about 4 of them. Also got some New Look. I can get McCall, Simpilcity and Butterick, on sale anytime, but Burda and New Look for $1.99!!!!! Date: 1/20/12 2:18 PM That's an easy bet, Pigling. I wish I could have gotten excited over some of the Vogue patterns, but I've never found a Vogue that fits me well. I'm hoping these Burdas are a winner. I've heard so much about their fit on this site. |

Date: 1/20/12 4:44 PM Lucky you! Last year the Joanns closest to my house lost their lease. They put all the fabric notions and craft at clearance prices, but their pattern prices remained the same. Unfortunately for me, they didnt move, just closed up shop. Now there are only 2 Joanns left in town, each one of them is about 15 miles or more from my house. No more quick trips to the fabric store for me |

If you're in Vegas and are referring to the one that was on Nellis & Stewart, one of the workers told me that they were hoping to find another location on the east side somewhere. Haven't seen any sign of them yet, but one can hope. ------ Grandma to arguably the cutest 8-year old ever! |

Date: 1/21/12 10:53 AM clt3, I hope you do get this same opportunity that we are getting here. I had no idea the patterns would drop in price like this...They sent everything over $25.00 to the other stores. The rest of the stuff is being liquidated. Next time you are in your store, ask the employees(or the manager)and they might be able to let you know something. I wonder if the prices on the patterns will continue to drop as the liquidation continues. I know there won't be the selection at that point, but if the price is right, I'll grab anything that looks good. |
