Now that the holidays are over and life is back to a routine I have been wondering how things are going for Lynn and her shop in her grandmother's house?

I can imagine she will find more notes on patterns and tucked into boxes of stash fabric.

Thank you once again for such an heart warming story.

Michelle

You aren't the only one to ask. further proving misery loves company..

Lynn is getting ready for the grand opening of her shop.. If anyone cares to come up with a name for it.. ref; the first book.. would love to hear it.. although I have one idea.. but only one..

SO, any suggestions from the membership will be appreciated..

I will start posting soon.. but you know how it is.. I have a DH who likes to eat poor thing. so I do try to toss him some scraps now and then.. whatever the dogs don't eat. And then there is just real life things this time of year.

I didn't originally plan to do another book. but just can't get these characters out of my mind myself. Then thought of just doing them around the holidays.. So am not sure when I will post it really M.. but soon I hope.

I can only say Lynn. like myself has been very busy getting ready for the opening.. Too bad she has no idea what else is about to come her way.

I cannot remember what was Grandma's first name?
Beatrice ? That might help come up with a nice name........ Um I was thinking of something to do with Beatrice Potter but if Grandma's name is not related it may not make sense.... hmmm.... have to think some more....

Gosh this stupid cold I hope I am making sense.... sigh...

Hmm. maybe you need to re read that book all over again..

I need suggestions for a name for the shop Kitty.. I have one I like.. but it was off the top of my head.. no thought about it yet.. I just thought it might be fun for those members reading the book to suggest a name or two for the shop..

Since everyone was so kind to keep the postings down during the text of the story this is one way they can participate a bit if they care too..

What shop? Where is it? I'm in the Dallas, TX area. I can't buy much, but I'll at least visit. :D

Poorpigling wrote a wonderful story for PR through the fall leading up to Christmas. My OP was to ask what would be happening next in the lives of characters in the story.

jynclr,

You can catch up on some of poorpigling's stories by doing a search.

Go to the Search Board function.

enter these two words with no space in between the words
poorpigling thread

click on messages and enjoy

(Explanation for searching like this is here: Miscellaneous > Message Searches, Bumping Threads)

Fortunately, I don't start a lot of new threads.. so if you skip over the health issues most of mine are stories.. I even made a story of sorts regarding our ''vacation'' last year.

The one I wrote at Christmas was '' Especially at this Time of Year'' I believe that is the one you are looking for.

And since you are in the area.. you are more than welcome to visit my ''sewing room'' I can tell you it much rivals a store in stock.. All kidding aside. please do give me a call, and come by and borrow a machine.. I have lots of things to play with here.. being as I am stuck at home with the dogs a lot. I hope I hear from you soon. Will re send my email addy and phone number via the message board here later today.

Edited to add.. The Panty Review stories are about the adventures of the Poorpigling Family.. and other members here at PR.. A spoof taken mostly off the threads at the time or writing.. or other happenings in our lives at that time.. The members all contributed to those stories.. and one has fabulous pics in it done by Lunar C..

The Lynn and Dan stories are a new series I have started.. a more real life story about a family.. a human family.. Quite different than the poorpigling stories..

As both you , and 7yrstitch already know. its raining cats, dogs, pigs and chickens too here in our area today. So I imagine those same dogs are gonna keep me occupied for most of the day.. however. I do have the next story mostly posted to draft and hope to copy paste and get it over to PR soon..

ooh! I have some time today. I'll definitely give a look-see. I started reading a Panty Review post and it was a very amusing read. Admittedly, my thought process was, "Panty Review? They review PANTIES here? That's thorough."

Poorpigling, I'd love to meet up with you! Perhaps I'll bring my beast.. er, sewing machine, and you can check it out. The beau has convinced me to still sew with it, but just not put it through its advanced paces even though the manual SAYS it can do those things.
