Date: 1/26/12 3:53 PM I want to buy some organic cotton fleece, Velour and other knits suitable for baby clothes, mostly in natural/cream/white at this stage.
Wazoodle seems like a good source, but their shipping to Australia is exorbitant, $70 for 3 yards!
I have looked at Near Sea Naturals, but they don't quite have the range.
Are there any other sources for organics with more reasonable shipping? ------ Taking in is happier than letting out.

Date: 1/26/12 4:26 PM Try Fabricmart, here's a link to their only organic knit product, a cream colored cotton knit.

Date: 1/26/12 5:55 PM Rivergum I responded to your question on my review - the Fabricmart cotton knit looks (hard to tell with a picture though) very similar to what I bought locally at Stonemountain & Daughter, except that it's cheaper. Mine is pretty thick too, but it could be the same - I'm tempted to get some of Fabricmart's, except that I'm doing really really well at not buying fabric right now.....
I don't know what FM's shipping costs are to Oz.

Date: 1/27/12 2:23 AM Thanks looloo and jillybee, for your help. I have ordered the organic knit from Fabricmart, so one down, more to go.
Please keep the suggestions coming if you have any. I also found some organic knits are fabric.com, but the last order I received from them was very thin. I can't imagine trying to put a band on such a thin knit. Besides, it's a winter baby. But their shipping is fantastic. ------ Taking in is happier than letting out.

Date: 1/28/12 3:42 PM Thanks so much for this tip, Qsss. I am absolutely thrilled. I ordered straight away and the shipping was $8! Beats paying $70 for the same amount. PR is such a good resource.
I also got some very beautiful thermal organic cotton from Near Sea Naturals and the organic knit from Fabricmart. The latter was so cheap the shipping won't put too much of a dent in the budget. ------ Taking in is happier than letting out.
