Best stretch lining?

For both 100% cotton jersey dresses, and for 100% polyester knits, do you have any recommended linings? I tend to wear tights every day in the winter, so I'd like my lining to prevent my dress from sticking to my tights, yet be comfortable against the skin.

If the lining has less stretch you'll have a fit problem. You want something silky/smooth to go over your tights. Maybe a slip fabric or a lightweight spandex. I don't line my knit dresses nor do any of my rtw knit dresses have a lining. I wear a slip if needed.

I've only lined one knit dress and that was because it was very flimsy material. I wear a ton of knit dresses, usually 3 or 4 a week, and I don't have any issue with the poly ones sticking to tights. You would make them from nylon tricot- which is not difficult to find in a variety of colors. There was a sew along last year dedicated to sewing lingerie- our first project was an easy half slip. Lots of great details and hints in that thread. ETA: I am at work and can't post the links. Look in the sew along thread, and right at the top there is a page for Lingerie Resources and Tips.
