polyester chiffon very sheer fabric any ideas on what to do with it?

I've got a black camisole that I could wear underneath it but any suggestions on what to make out of it? Awhile back I made Butterick 5355 with the raglan sleeves and ooohhh I thought I looked like a linebacker! I can't do those kind of sleeves! Any suggestions? -- Edited on 2/1/12 8:14 AM --

She combines and overlays sheers and solids with with seemingly happy abandon. ------ I have no idea what Apple thought I was saying so be a Peach and credit anything bizarre to auto correct.

It would work equally well in a poly chiffon. To deal with the sheerness of the fabric I have underlined the bodice front and back so I don't have to bother with a cami. I chose to underline in a plain colored chiffon that matched my fashion fabric. My fabric colour is very dark so this will give enough coverage. You could also underline in a light cotton. Don't forget about Lina Merrins great tip for treating chiffon with gelatine to make it easier to handle! It is on a thread here somewhere regarding sewing with chiffon. If you can't find it, sing out and I will track it down. I used it on this project and it has been great. ------ Jenny, Perth, WA
