Hi everyone I am relatively new here. I am a young man and have been sewing on an off the past few years so my skills are still good (well at least I like to think so) With in the past few years I've got into quilting but am now I have started entering the world of garment making. I have made an easy vest that was meant to be a coat/formal jacket but since the pieces were in Italian I gave up making the jacket and made the vest because I couldn't understand the names of the piece except a few and the instructions. Lucky it was dead cheap though.

I have also made a few pair of pants too but hoping to make more pants, shirts and jackets later on this year because everything is becoming expensive especially good quality clothes as I had my fair share of the cheap stuff.

I am very pleased to be apart of this community.

Hi aka and a warm welcome to PR
There are quite a few men and Aussies sewing away here on PR, many for the same reasons. There is always help available, with lots of chatting, specially in the Sewing Down Under thread

Welcome. So happy to have another in this great community of people who sew. Don't give up on that Italian pattern. There's probably plenty who can translate it for you. But if not, there are plenty more who can read the international language of pattern pieces.
