Wool knit crepe fabric From FabricMart Fabrics - how to use?

FabricMart's description was a Wool Crepe with Flair that is springy and hangs loosely. I would say their description was fairly accurate (they are usually pretty good in that regard, IMO) and I don't know why I thought the fabric would be more of a "knit" than a "crepe." I purchased 2 yards in fuschia and 2 in grape - both of which are are lovely in person with a lovely hand and loose drape, just as described. There isn't much stretch, either, its just sort of springy. So, I'm at a little bit of a loss on what to do with this fabric - has anyone else purchased it and sewn with it yet? Recommendations? I'm nearing the end of my pregnancy and was considering making a top that is nursing & post-baby-body friendly. Thanks!

I had some wool knit crepe in teal back in the nineties--made a princess seam knit dress from a Burda magazine. It was a petite. How I wish I still had the pattern and the dress! I loved it. Moths got at it eventually, though. Anyway, my recollection is that it was a very non-clinging, lightweight, comfortable and flattering fabric. ------ Virginia http://asewinglife.blogspot.com
