Date: 2/5/12 8:25 PM I was just wondering what embroidery machine does everyone have and what do you like the most about it.
I have a singer xl-6000 and I like the auto bobbin winding and auto needle threader.
How about you? ------ Rebecca Pitts

Date: 2/5/12 8:41 PM I have a Baby Lock BMP9 6 needle embroidery machine and really like the multi needle option, and the thread trimmer, as these features save quite a bit of time.
I also have a Janome Memorycraft 9700 and like the way hoops attach to the machine. |

Date: 2/6/12 9:02 AM I have a Janome 10001 and have had it for 8 years. I love it it does all I need it to. Have never had a major problem with it. The only thing that has ever broken is the needle threader. I love the ease of use. And the sewing side is to die for. |

Date: 2/6/12 9:07 AM Baby Lock Ellegante - the first one.
It is a combo and has never had any issues.
I just recently found I could download their on-screen designer digitizing program (free) and use the LCD screen and stylus to create (primitive for me) designs.
The sewing side of the combo sews a perfect seam and is mouse-quiet.

Date: 2/6/12 9:19 AM At one time I upgraded to another machine but found I was so use to working the Singer and was more happy with it. I ended up selling the other machine.

Date: 2/6/12 9:45 AM I have a Bernina 830LE, which is my dream machine. I've owned a couple of other Bernina models, but started out with a Janome combo machine about 10 years ago. I love having the use of the Jumbo and Mega hoops because I do a lot of machine embroidery on my quilts. The Endless Embroidery feature is wonderful and I love the Bernina DesignerPlusV.6 software. ------ Bernina 830LE, Bernina 630E, Bernina 1300MDC |

Date: 2/6/12 9:57 AM I have a BabyLock Ellageo. It has the floppy drive built in. This is my first machine and so far I love it. I do baby it terribly; but, I have yet to find anything I dislike about it. This is my first machine with thread cutter and I don't know how I lived without it until now! |

Date: 2/6/12 11:22 AM Brother PE 770. I like that it's easy to learn and puts out a decent product. It's my first attempt at machine embroidery and is spurred by my desire to use my own designs. However, I am still in the process of finding a program that reads jpgs, perhaps svg and puts out a pes file. Embird is probably the one I'll get.

Date: 2/6/12 11:40 AM I have the Brother Quattro. I love the snowman feature which allows for precise embroidery placement, and the camera which gives a view from the needle's point of view, and helps with placement. I feel like it sews through any thickness of fabric like butter. |
