I am still searching for sources for some of the great cutout fabrics and lace overlay dresses and skirts I am seeing

I really love the more casual looks starting to appear
Like this one . I really want to make this for spring but so far no luck in finding fabrics like this.

Mood has this one in off-white but of course it is back ordered

Is anyone seeing this around?

If you have a Hancock's I just saw some nice wide lace fabrics in their
Bargain bolts. Every store gets whatever they ship of course, but I liked a pretty forest green one, would be pretty as the top yoke of a summer top or overlay piece. I never find anything in JA's.

In contrast, "new" knits were regular $12.99 in both places! WHY,
when we can find much more selection online at half the price?

You might even be able to use a open work table cloth, or a lacy curtain and those would be wide in width. If it was thin and soft enough to drape well. It actually reminds me of lots of sheer/lets the light go through it, even curtain material. Maybe also check linen departments for some of those even.

Emma One Sock has this one. It's not the same, but you may like it for this kind of top.
