cutout fabrics and lace seems to be everywhere this year

I really want to make this for spring but so far no luck in finding fabrics like this. Every store gets whatever they ship of course, but I liked a pretty forest green one, would be pretty as the top yoke of a summer top or overlay piece. I never find anything in JA's. In contrast, "new" knits were regular $12.99 in both places! WHY, when we can find much more selection online at half the price?

If it was thin and soft enough to drape well. It actually reminds me of lots of sheer/lets the light go through it, even curtain material. Maybe also check linen departments for some of those even.
