Please pray for my friend's hubby ..heart surgery tomorrow

If this does not help he will be going to Mayo for extensive heart surgery. He will be 60 on the 26th of this month. This is scaring me too....... my Dad died at 59 of heart problems complicated with diabetes. .............. Thank you so much!! Sure is scary........... I will be taking care of their dogs while my friend is at hospital & sees him when he gets to ICU. ..... The cardiologist called today & said he would probably need more than 1 stent put in & possibly something else they will see when they do the angiogram. Our friend sure has gotten very sick very fast! : ( ...... I do not like it.... We had a scare with dh's best friend who was helicoptered with a massive heart attack and lots of up and downs. They took him into surgery even though it was not optimal after having so many drugs to resuscitate him and he thankfully survived the emergency surgery that night and is hopefully on the mend. I pray that your friend makes it through his ordeal also. It is a very difficult thing to face.

It is scary to think about heart surgery, but it has come such a long way in the past 35 years. Your friend is lucky to have your support and prayer circle. My FIL has had 2 stents put in and the last one was at age 74. He has many other health issues but his heart is no longer a major one.
