Am so excited I have to share....I just bought 33 yards of white Bemberg rayon at JoAnn Fabrics. They are having a half off red tag for the weekend. The bolts were marked $6 then half off that. I bought all of one bolt at one store then I went to another and decided to purchase all of that bolt. It was a bit more than I expected as the second bolt had over 20 yards.

There is still another bolt with maybe 15 yards on it. All the bolts are white. If you are in the Cleveland area and interested - check the red tag shelves. The Southland store has that additional bolt. It is sort of hiding on one of the lower shelves of the red tag shelf that faces the back of the store.

That is a lot of fabric! What are you planning on using it for?

Bemberg rayon is primarily used for lining, which will definitely be handy to keep around. What a great deal!

I plan to use mostly for linings - also slips. Bemberg is only 45 inches in width.

Yes, I know it is a lot of fabric. But, lining one long coat requires about 4 yards. 1 pants slip or pants lining is about 2 yards.

I am not sure how dye-able it is but if it can take something like silk dyes I can even do more with it. Of course, now anyone who knows anything about fabric dyeing will chime in and set me straight on this. I am not even ready to care to look into fabric dyeing yet.
