Date: 2/20/12 10:56 AM That all the garments made were red.

I am going to be going back to a more monochrome wardrobe, mostly blacks, grays, whites, with some red. But my current list of 4 reviews with all red garments was completely unintentional. I do have a shirt and a skirt I need to review. Just gotta take those pictures!
I can't put them on because that was when I didn't realize that pattern sizing numbers are COMPLETELY different from RTW sizing and so they don't fit.
But hey, at least I got practice on them and I at least do a review of the pattern. ------ Evelyn: Pfaff Creative Performance

Date: 2/20/12 12:25 PM I tend to do the same thing when it comes to colors. I end up with 4 or 5 different fabric all in the same color or I will get on a plaid kick or flowers or stips and end up with a bunch of the same type fabric. This winter it was plaids. ------ Ada

Date: 2/20/12 3:48 PM For me it's all about the serger thread--so I just finished 4 red projects in a row. Next will be turquoise! ------ http://theslapdashsewist.blogspot.com

Date: 2/20/12 4:57 PM Well, it's a Valentine's month, so maybe you had that on your mind. I don't think it would have been as effective if your reviews were in let's say, October, or November... ;-) ------ "We don't impose our rhythm on Nature. The key is to respect and live within Her." Date: 2/20/12 6:50 PM Well, these items were made and spread out over a year or so. LOL
But ok, good... so I'm not going to feel goofy when I sew up 5 black things in a row.
BTW, I noticed another thing. See, I've gained some weight since my weight loss surgery 10 years ago. The last two items I made (Simplicity 2852 - Knit Top and Simplicity 4789 - Women's Jumper View C) were, well.. I dunno, well... bags.
I love jumpers. I really do. I made the women's jumper, view C, and wore it today. My friend said it was really cute and she liked it. I left off the pockets, even though I had them cut out to put on, because I thought it would look a little too immature for me. (I'm 43.) I dunno.
I do have some other patterns that are more fitted and if I remember correctly, have more shape to them. This just reminds me I need to lose weight again.
At any rate, it's good to know that we go through phases. I guess that should not be too terribly surprising, eh? ------ Evelyn: Pfaff Creative Performance
