I have always been disappointed with the rayon challis which I have gotten on line before, never much liking the feel or color, pattern or print, or quality. But having recently purchased a "new" vintage pattern that just screamed for a large floral (something I normally run away from...the pattern is for a zip up dress/robe for at home wear), I saw this fabric and thought to give it a try. I Van Gogh rayon challis it came today and I am totally impressed with it. Lovely hand, soft wonderful feeling and drapey and now it is on sale. There is also, on sale, the same fabric but other prints, not Van Gogh, which are very nice, in fact I went back today and got some of that , because it is on sale at a great price. There are also some Kaffe Fassett, on sale and Amy Butler, not on sale, challis there, but I do not know about them. (The fact that my dog got hold of the package which the UPS guy apparently just threw onto my steps, and ripped it apart (the dog ripped the bag apart) (I was home and the delivery guy could have come to the front door)....dragging the fabric in the mud and ripping and tearing it............but that is another story.

Per the link & FYI, Cathryn got her fabric from www.fabric.com (NAYY). Even though I am on a fabric fast, I have been looking at this stuff. Nice to know it is worth considering. Thanks.
