There are sewers and fabriholics who can identify the designer or maker of a fabric just by looking at it. I recently found this fabric on the designer table at a fabric discounter. I think it's a cotton/poly blend and feels expensive. I wonder if it is from a famous designer.

Does anyone recognize this fabric. I would love to know if I scored an expensive designer fabric for $3.99/yd.

Wow, how pretty. When you find out let me know. Maybe I can score some too. I don't know what designer this is but this could make me melt.

Almost like that linen we scored last year!

Designer fabrics often have the name woven or stamped in the selvage. That looks like a fabric that would have it woven in if it is a designer suiting.
