Snow in the greater Portland Oregon area on March 1st. I took pictures, as I can't believe we had snow this late in the season. If we get past Valentines Day without snow, it is usually done for the winter. We have 3+ inches out there. DH told me at 3am when he put the dogs out it was snowing. Snowing? On March 1st? We had about an inch then. Now it is 7:30 am and we have over 3 inches. It is 32 degrees and it is starting to melt. I expect it to be all gone by noon if not sooner. Still, snow is not normal for us, and it is really pretty to look at. I took pictures, of course. ------ Quilting is relaxing to me. I love to play with fabrics, patterns and colors. It is snowing today some more... kinda pretty out & not so slippery that we did not make it to services this morning....; ) Today's good news My Mom's TV was repairable so none of us kids had to try to scrounge together money to buy her a new one! I am so relieved.... Mom loves her TV shows & old DVDs. ... very happy about this! ...... Happy Sunday everyone. My sisters and i did get my mother a new tv. She just loves watching movies. Today Duluth we had lake efect snow all day.
