Date: 3/5/12 4:02 PM So!
I have been lusting after the Sizzix eClips but man oh man was it EXPENSIVE. Finally, FINALLY! It came down to a price I could afford, and even better with a coupon code. Sweet! And my favorite cutting software has a special edition to use special features on it. Yay!
I just did a really intricate cut on it right now with the software. It is a design that I KNOW my Cricut Expression would have CHEWED it up into a hot mess. The eClips, however, cut it out no problem!
Better yet: I have managed to sell my Cricut Expression along with about 8 carts (I still have a few left, however) to pay for this upgrade to the eClips.
I shipped off the carts and Expression to the eBay winners. Went to lunch with the beau, and when we got back, the eClips was on my doorstep. I was less than a 4 hours without a die cutting machine. LOL
I'm REALLY excited!!! It's got a LASER! (pew! pew! pew!) I love it already. ------ Evelyn: Pfaff Creative Performance

Congrats on that new toy . I have not even had the time to look at the new items coming out for papercrafting and die cutting. I know there has been a lot of upgrades . I won't part with my cricut however even if I add the eclips.. as I have too many cartridges for it that I love.
THANKS for posting though. It will inspire me to look at the new stuff soon.
So, where did you buy it and how much was it. Go ahead.. enable me. |

I got it for $215 and change, with $10 shipping from OhMyCrafts.com. I had to use a coupon code to get 20% off. They're normally $269.
In fact, I have a coupon code for 25% off any order over $200 if you want that code, howzat for enabling?
Then I purchased the eCal software at Sure Cuts Alot, craftedge.com.
I made the money back from the Cricut and carts sale (and I still have some carts, if you're interested, btw) to have purchased the eClips and the software. In fact, I made more money from the sale. ------ Evelyn: Pfaff Creative Performance
