I would love to have a table for my Bernina 830 that would allow the machine to be set in. Is that something that's even available for a machine of that size? And would it be practical? I've seen some models that have an electric lift, now wouldn't that be a nice feature.

I'm not sure a lift is a good idea with the weight of the machine but this appears to be a nice table for one:

Unique Sewing Table

They've got a few others on the site. I don't have one but I know some here do.

I have Unique Sewing Furniture. Which I LOVE!!

You can get a Koala or Horn cabinet too--but if you decide to order either, make sure the lift is one that can support the weight of the 830. The Unique does not have a lift, but instead has an insert for when you are not using the embroidery unit.

Sonoma,
Beautiful table. Ive been debating for months. I like the way you can easily get to your bobbin with this design. Is this table the 48 inch with no draws?
Really great. Lucky you

Haha. Latte is my daughter's kitten--so I call her my grandkitten and spoil her terribly. She is now about a year old. She was a rescue-siamese mix. She brings her toy mice and drops them at my feet and then meows at me when I'm sewing so that I will stop and play fetch with her. She is THE CUTEST kitty!

I ordered mine through my favorite dealership and the price was quite a bit less than the listed MSRP. Also, I ordered in Cherry--which was a bit more than oak. And I added the set of drawers--the bottom drawer in the set holds the embroidery unit when not in use. It can hold some other stuff as well.

The delivery was direct from Unique and they handled everything really well--contacting us to make sure the day/times worked, and then it was carried into my bedroom and polished with wood beams. I think the price is no more than a Koala cabinet--but it was more than my Horn cabinet.

Hi Nancy,

Yes, that is the 48x24 table with no drawers. BUT, look at what can be stored on the back ledge underneath!

IMG_4932

That is my ENTIRE (345 cones) collection of Isacord embroidery thread, plus a couple of containers of serger thread, containers of embroidery floss, and a bag with a project.
